Don't be Scammed!

First let me say, Happy Valentine's Day to everyone!!
I'm going to talk about something other than decorating today.
Yesterday I received a letter that looked "somewhat" official, stating Annual Minutes Requirement Statement Directors And Shareholders ( business corporations.) They wanted me to send a check for $125 payable to Compliance Services.
I did a little research and here's what I found:

Here’s a little tip for US business owners. If you get a document in the mail called: “Annual Minutes Requirement Statement Directors and Shareholders”, do not pay it, this is a scam. The Florida Department of State has now posted a warning about this on its front-page as well.

While this document might look very authentic, in the small print it states:

This product has not been approved or endorsed by any government agency and this offer is not being made by an agency of the government.

Needless to say, you should never send shareholder information to any non-government organization. And your actual annual meeting information should only be addressed to a government organization or posted at SunBiz.org.

The letter that I originally received had the following return address:

"Dreamers Into Doers"

Well, I'm heading off to New York City next week to attend the 2011 "Dreamers Into Doers" event hosted by Martha Stewart. Ceiling Medallion for St. John's Church

Recently, I was contacted by Superior Construction Services, here in Essex, CT to create a very large ceiling medallion. Superior's client, St. John's Episcopal Church, had an air vent in the hall that would not close and was allowing heat loss. The ceiling medallion would cover the vent and stop the heat loss. This is the largest ceiling medallion I have created so far!
Superior Construction Services took care of the installation process.

They did a great job!!

I'm very excited to share a little bit of exciting news!!!
Celebrity Interior Designer "Sherri Blum" has chosen a Sweet Dreams Ceiling Medallion for one of her celebrity clients. I cannot mention who it is until the show airs after the holidays.
But I will keep you posted on the "TLC" air date!
Sherri is creating a neutral gender nursery and chose a Sweet Dreams Ceiling Medallion in pale olive with a distressed finish.
